Nkrumah hall was named after the late Kwame Nkrumah, the first president of Ghana and founder of the Pan-African Movement. Nkrumah hall was officially gazetted as the national heritage site in 2015 because of different values it has such as uniqueness of the architecture of the time; historical value; the building also identifies the nation in economic contribution.
